Young Life Youth Ministries - Castaway Club

Castaway Club is a lakefront camp owned and operated by Young Life Youth Ministries located outside of Detroit Lakes, MN on beautiful Pelican Lake! The camp was established in 1963, consists of more than a dozen buildings and many indoor and outdoor activities and they host over 4,500 campers a year!

With two of their buildings recently designed by BHH Partners and constructed by Tomlinson-Schultz Construction, their buildings are interconnected through the site with timber frame accents and consistent exterior elements. Once inside, white pine interiors having commercial grade materials that are not only able to withstand the wear and tear of camp culture, but also provide a high-end hospitality feel for their guests throughout the summer! A nautical feel and theme is a consistent concept here at camp, with many of the facilities having breathtaking views situated high on the hill overlooking the water.
